Welcome to Pantaenius Shetland Race 2016, 30th Anniversery.

Thanks to the support of Pantaenius and other sponsors we have been able to arrange the traditional regatta to Shetland. In 2016 we celebrate 30th anniversary for our regatta.

We are happy to see participants from many different locations in Norway, and we are proud to welcome several international participants.

Some of the participants are crossing the North Sea for the first time, I am sure you are excited. Many of you have participated many times before, and some of you have joined the regatta for almost 30 times. We welcome you all.

Remember to report your position on VHF during the regatta and contact Shetland Coast Guard when arriving Lerwick, they will give you instructions.

We hope the Pantaenius Shetland Race will give you fair competition. Remember to take good care of each other onboard, safety first. We urge you all to avoid accidents on people or equipment. May the best sailors win.
